Teaching a Drug Lord

It's true, his name will remain a mystery, but we'll call him G. Medrano for now. He's so cool now don't worry that was his old self.

It's been a good week! Grinding for sure. This week I wanted to focus really hard on working super hard during work time and resting hard during rest time. It's been fulfilling that's for sure.

We are working towards baptism with some friends, others have been AFK for a bit which is lame. In general, though, we are finding, teaching and trying to baptize!

I'm gonna be a host on a podcast-- I made all the music for it, so that's sweet. The mission president is super excited about the idea so it'll be awesome, me and some of my mission friends are hosting it.

Time to make it out of the suburbs everyone. 🤝🔥🔥

There's this funny Elder named Elder Hansen who I'm good friends with-- he always asks me how I do things, like: 

"Elder Dahl, what do you do when you get sick?"

He just messages me that and other questions randomly, so I make videos about what I do in various scenarios. I put one in my photos album. He's so funny.

I've learned hope really is one of the most important things in this life, without hope, there's no progression. Whenever I feel like there's no hope for me, I always try and remember Christ has given me hope regardless of my circumstance. I need to access that hope and cling to it. It's blessed me so much this past week to know that my Savior saves me from a hopeless future to one where I can have hope through Him.
