The rumors are true, I am helping out with a podcast for the mission. Cool stuff I know-- not my idea. Shoutout out to Elder Pittard who came up with it and is also teaching me how to swish 3 pointers like nobody's business. 🏀
It's been a long time coming-- our friends are progressing, and we are working! Our friend Diamond is #elect so she has been meeting with us and working towards Baptism!
I am so good at running the front desk for English classes for the Espanol missionaries. We had to do that for like 4 hours last week.
I just say "Que Pasa!" and fist bump Mexican guys as they go to class. It's actually so fun. One time I said this guy smelled bueno, then he pulled out this vial and motioned for me to show my wrist. Then he proceeded to put some black tar on my wrist and tell me to rub it on my neck too.
I smelled bueno for days.
Pablo got ordained to the Priesthood! So excited for him.
We went to this food bank to volunteer and that has been so cool every time we do it.
Alas I digress. It's been fun out here. Lots of memories made for sure.
I've been trying to change a lot. Change to be better all around. Sometimes it feels overwhelming when I feel like I'm not making progress. Christ allows for miracles to happen in our lives according to His time. This last week was a miracle. I felt myself changing in ways that I couldn't do by myself. God's timing is different than ours, but His is also perfect; ours is not. The scriptures teach us to be patient, and there is huge value in that quality.
