Don't worry I spiked it on him but he took it well.
LENGTHY EMAIL WARNING
This week we had a little play date with all the new missionaries and President Coleman, that was so fun. We played volleyball and group games, so sick.
It's been a good week! I will actually tell you about the missionary work in this email so I can show I'm actually working:
Mario: Mario has been meeting with us for two weeks and was raised in a lot of different religions but is looking for truth and a home. All the things we have taught him he says make sense so we told him to obtain a witness from God, he says he is trying and to be patient with him
nothing we can do about that haha
nothing we can do about that hahaFelicia: A media referral who accidentally called us who then opened up and shared she is trying to restart her life, so we said lets get you baptized, and she agreed so we have been working with her a lot! We gave her a church tour and she said "As soon as I walked in this room, I felt like this wave of something." And she started crying and told us she needs to be here. We agreed.
David: David meets with us outside his front door like twice a week, he has taken all of the lessons so far very well. This last time we met with him he shared about how he's really been struggling and wants to change his life. We felt inspired to pray with him right then, then afterward he started talking then grabbed his chest. We asked if he was okay, he said:
"I don't know what's happening, I feel like I want to cry, and my heart is like on fire. But it's not bad."
We testified that's the spirit of God telling him what we are teaching is true. Pretty amazing.
I've been blessed so much in my life from interacting with others, these friends we are teaching are experiencing the joy that comes from a sincere desire to find truth. It has been changing me and will continue to do so.
Still there's a lot of funny things that happen which make my days.
Thanks for all your support!
Elder Dahl
